Are you feeling like you can’t stay grounded? Wondering why you worry so much? Fearing things from happening every day?

If you’re experiencing any of these issues, one or more of your Chakras may be blocked, but especially your Root Chakra. All you need to do to heal them and bring them back into alignment is to use a fun, easy healing technique with crystals.

We are truly made to love and enjoy the earth we live on. We’re made to feel safe, but if you perceive things as constant dangers, threats, or even inconveniences that affect your mood, there’s too much stimulation around you. It’s time to take a break and have your space and time to relax and enjoy a bit of healing with crystals.

Start with a Total Body Relaxing Meditation

In order to allow the stones and crystals to work their magic on your mind, body, and soul, you need to relax! It’s easy enough to go to a spa and automatically have the atmosphere you need to relax, but if you’re doing this at home, you may be distracted. So set your mindset that your home is your comfort zone, your retreat house, and get relaxed. Start with this meditation.

If you’re finding it hard to concentrate, you may want to start with relaxing yourself first. One of the best ways to do this is with a complete muscle relaxing meditation, listed as the video above.

If you’re still having trouble, then there’s 1 of 2 things you need to do:

You need to move the anxious energy out. Any heavy, stuck energy needs to be moved out of your body. Wherever you’re feeling that energy, ask it to flow out of your body. If it feels too heavy to move it out, take your hands by it and gently move it out of your body.

Bring in the energy of your Root Chakra. Once you’ve moved energy out of your body, then ask the Root Chakra to balance itself and bring the energy up through your spine to also balance your other chakras. Once that is complete, then ask the Root Chakra to identify any areas of stuck energy and work on breaking up that energy or moving it out of your body.

After you’ve completed these steps, then try again with allowing the energy of the stone to come into your aura and to balance your Root Chakra.

About Your Root Chakra

Your Root Chakra is your 1st chakra and it is located at your genital area. There are several crystals that can heal this chakra, but one of my favorites that works quickly is Red Jasper. Its red color activates and stimulates the Root Chakra so that you can open and active it. The Root Chakra responds immediately to Red Jasper.

Where the Root Chakra is Located

The Root Chakra is located at the base of your spine. It’s truly the chakra you want to focus on first because by placing your attention at this location, you can move the energy of the Root Chakra up through your spine to balance and activate all of the other chakras. The energy, to me, feels like a rush of air and electricity running up my spine.

The spine is also important in healing because it contains the trapped emotions that can later manifest into physical ailments like a “bad back,” for instance, or lower back pain. It can even shoot down into the leg or knee or feet as a physical manifestation of the trapped emotions. There is research and a study performed around how the spine is important in healing that I will bring up in a later blog post

Using Red Jasper to Heal Your Root Chakra

If you already have a piece of Red Jasper, simply lie down and place this stone at your genital area where the Root Chakra is located. Focus on the energy of the stone for 5-10 minutes and allow the energy to enter into your Root Chakra.

Using a Crystal Grid to Heal Your Root Chakra

Here’s an image of a crystal grid I created for healing the Root Chakra. The large stone in the middle is citrine and if you look closely, it looks like it is in the shape of a key. It actually looks like the healing star, Chiron, and the icon for it on astrology charts. Chiron is associated with healing. The heart shaped stone is Red Carnelian. The round stone right below the heart-shaped one is garnet. The stones surrounding the Citrine are red jasper and quartz points.

What the Root Chakra is Associated With For Healing

The Root Chakra is the “I AM” and is strongly identified with yourself, your ego, and your identity. It also is associated with your sexual energy and physical aspects of life, as well as the actions you take in life.

When this chakra is blocked, you may be missing out on opportunities in front of your face! That’s because you aren’t taking action through your “gut” or knowing. You’re having to run it by your crown or 3rd eye chakra first to see if the opportunity is right for you and then likely miss out on it altogether.

Instead, if you’re living by your Root Chakras sense of knowing, then you would already be jumping on opportunities and taking action. So if you aren’t, then it’s blocked.

The best way to heal the Root Chakra is to work with the energy of a stone or crystal for 5-10 minutes each day. You can always go longer during your healing time if you want to truly relax and allow the Red Jasper to change your aura and to have positive effects in your chakra.

The main thing you need to do is to relax your mind. It’s your subconscious that will need to allow the healing to take place. By relaxing, you’re then giving your subconscious the clear directive that you want the Root Chakra to be healed and freed of any impurities, pent up negative energy, and to activate itself so that it will work for you in keeping you grounded, able to take action on helpful, positive opportunities, and to activate the energy of the Root Chakra that is uplifting, grounding, and positive.
